No. 4 UF W-Tennis Moves to 4-0 with Win Over South Alabama
The fourth-ranked University of Florida women's tennis team showed little
signs of rust after a 12-day break, earning a convincing 6-1 victory over South Alabama on Friday evening at Linder Stadium at Ring Tennis Complex.
The win, which improved the Gators' overall record to 4-0 this season, was
UF's 44th consecutive regular season home victory and the team's 31st straight overall home win. South Alabama fell to 1-3. |

Gators open dual match season with a win
This edition of the women's Gator tennis team began their 2007 dual match campaign as nearly every Gator team before
it had, with a win. This opening match win was 7-0 over Stetson Thursday in Gainesville.
Winning in singles for the Gators were: Diana Srebrovic, Nina Suvak, Megan Alexander, Whitney Benik, Csilla Borsanyi,
and Anastasia Revzina.
In doubles it was: Whitney Benik and Nina Suvak teaming up for the win, Megan Alexander and Diana Srebrovic, as well
as Csilla Borsanyi together with Lolita Frangulyan. |
