Gator Men Swim Team Record 500th All-Time Victory In Win Over
Tennessee
The #8 ranked University of Florida men’s swimming and diving team
defeated #14 Tennessee 132-103 in a dual match at the O'Dome Natatorium Friday night.
Lucas Salatta recorded an NCAA automatic-qualifying time of 1:42.74 in
the 200 backstroke to win the event, while Jonathan Wilcox swept the diving events and broke his own school record in the 3 meter dive with a score of 436.13. Wilcox’s previous record, which came last season, was a score of 408.92.
The Gators won seven events on the night and also collected four NCAA
qualifying standards against Tennessee. |
