Walton sports fresh lineup

The word that best describes the UF softball team is change.
After losing five starters from last year, Coach Tim Walton has had to shift
his entire lineup, and as a result, center fielder Lacy Howard is the only returning player at the same position.
Fans should expect similar faces in new places when the Gators open their
season at the Kajikawa Classic in Tempe, Ariz., on Friday.
Sophomore Brooke Johnson will move from third base to left field, taking the
place of departed four-year starter Lindsey Cameron. |
