Men's golf begins season ranked No. 1

When the UF men's golf team begins its spring season Saturday, it may
not be greeted by 90,000 screaming fans at the Swamp or by any Rowdy Reptiles shouting its name.
However, when the team plays its one home tournament of the year, there
is one thing it will have in common with the national championship teams -- a No. 1 ranking.
Following one of the program's most successful fall seasons, including five
top-five finishes in as many tournaments, the team earned the nation's top ranking, according to Golfweek. |
