Wilber Marshall was having fun.
So were Florida Gators fans.
This was back in the day, back when the opponent was your father's
Southern Cal Trojans, a football factory that manufactured Heisman Trophy running backs. Student body right. Student body left. USC was the measuring stick if you wanted to raise your game as a college football program.
Twenty-five years ago today, that's exactly what the Gators were trying to
do.
Wilber Marshall did it for them.
