Defense among stingiest in red zone

GAINESVILLE - Florida might have problems with its pass rush and
coverage, but the defense is excelling in one important area: the red zone.
The Gators have allowed only four touchdowns in 15 red-zone opportunities,
meaning opponents have scored touchdowns only 26.7 percent of the time after they have moved inside the 20-yard line against UF. That's the best percentage in the Southeastern Conference. |
