Meyer assistants get raises
Dave Curtis - Orlando Sentinel Writer
GAINESVILLE -- Florida football coach Urban Meyer's assistants earned
substantial pay raises after helping lead the Gators to a national
championship, contracts obtained Wednesday showed.
The nine on-field full-time assistants, including UF's three coordinators and
associate head coach Doc Holliday, will combine to earn $382,000 more in
2007 than they pocketed in 2006.
The pay bumps served as rewards for past performance and incentive for the
assistants to remain in their positions.
