Gators lose Powell after tumultuous freshman season
By KARL HYPPOLITE - Alligator Staff Writer
After receiving little playing time last season, guard Brandon Powell has
decided to transfer from UF.
Powell appeared in 23 games last season and averaged just 1.6 ppg in his
lone season as a Gator.
Powell had been dissatisfied with his playing time throughout the season,
leading to several conversations with Coach Billy Donovan. Monday morning, Donovan announced that Powell was planning to transfer from the university. |
