Gator Basketball - 3/5/07
All is well again for the Gators
Dave Curtis | Orlando Sentinel Staff Writer
GAINESVILLE -- Joakim Noah was dunking the ball and thumping his chest.
Florida's three guards each sank three 3-pointers. For the game's final 19:09,
visiting Kentucky played catch-up.
For a day, at least, everything in Gator basketball was good again.
The numbers at the end were reminiscent of months gone by -- 64 percent
field goal shooting, five players in double figures, and good news on the
scoreboard. UF's 85-72 victory over the Wildcats at the O'Connell Center
may have restored its mojo just in time for this week's Southeastern
Conference Tournament.
