No. 1 UF avoids trap
The Gators silence an enthusiastic crowd at Georgia and win their 15th
in a row.

ATHENS, Ga. -- Florida forward Chris Richard noticed Georgia's players
sulking, Georgia's fans slouching, Georgia's energy saying sayonara for
the evening.
Everyone in red and black started Wednesday night stoked over the
Bulldogs' crack at top-ranked UF. And following the refrain they've
established all season, the Gators saw the enthusiasm and spent the
next two hours eliminating it.
"In the beginning, everybody's excited and wants to play," Richard said
after Florida (22-2, 9-0 Southeastern Conference) dismantled Georgia
(13-9, 5-5) 71-61 at Stegeman Coliseum. "By the time we get going, get
a couple stops, couple dunks, everybody can see that we're the real
deal. Like they get deflated out there."
