Board defies Tallahassee
THE BOARD OF GOVERNORS WILL RAISE TUITION.

ORLANDO - In blatant disregard of Florida's Legislature, the Florida Board of
Governors voted to increase tuition up to 5 percent and join former Sen. Bob Graham's fight to give the board the power to set tuition rates at a meeting Tuesday.
The board, which is the governing body of the State University System, also
decided to freeze freshman enrollment statewide. |
