Students react to cuts
By KIM WILMATH - Alligator Writer
With a possible tuition increase around the corner, UF students have
money on their minds. But some have said the fate of the Florida Bright Futures Scholarship Program is what really worries them.
J.P. Ruiz, a UF sophomore, said if he didn't have 100 percent of his tuition
covered by Bright Futures, he wouldn't be able to attend UF.
Because he comes from a relatively low-income background, Ruiz said he
feels every extra financial strain. |
