UF's success pays for Foley with top AD deal

Florida Athletic Director Jeremy Foley wants the best of everything in
college athletics -- facilities and coaches, budgets and championship rings. Soon he'll also have the top salary among his peers and his signature on an 11-year contract that should keep him with the Gators until he retires.
UF officials announced Friday that Foley's new deal, which with incentives
included will pay him as much as $1.2 million per year, has been approved by the athletic department's compensation committee. The contract will include no public funds or dollars from the school's general fund. |
